The Sponsorship Office was founded by Alan Duncan in late 2007. Alan has 15 years of sponsorship acquisition and management experience acquired through working around the world with The Economist Group and in Australia with leading local companies.
Alan was directly involved in sponsorship sales and managing teams of sponsorship staff for The Economist Group conferences, executive briefings and research in Japan, Europe, Middle East and Africa, gaining exposure across all main industry segments and government.
These experiences gave Alan an understanding that finding the right sponsorship and exhibition partners requires significant tenacity and expertise for companies that provide world-class business events and content.
Alan saw the opportunity to offer sponsorship management services to companies organizing great business events and media properties, allowing them to free up valuable staff time to concentrate on organizing fantastic events whilst the Sponsorship Office is engaged to increased sponsorship revenue.
